The objective of this project was to redesign the 1st and 2nd year Interior Design Studio at NDSU in an innovative way. The design solution addresses proper lighting, acoustic considerations, and overall functionality of the space. The studio classrooms promote interaction and include suitable workspace for collaboration, but also individual work. Technology enhances the classrooms and colors and elements are intentionally chosen to promote a healthy and creative learning environment for design students.
